Nature sealed in a pine cone

Drewniana Róża simply means… a pinecone

It's an old, noble word for a pinecone — a symbol of strength, nature and harmony — and it gave our place its name. That's why every apartment and cabin is named after a conifer, from Cedr to Tuja. Here, nature, comfort and calm weave into one.

We're waiting for you — us and the whole cheerful crew

Ania, Piotrek, Olek and Tosia, and with us the two Anias, Kinga, Tetiana and Karolina. You'll get a tail-wagging welcome from the dogs Amok, Roxi, Reksio and Jerry (if they happen to be around, because with them it varies) — and the wild animals from the valley will drop by when you least expect them.

Good to know

The questions we hear most often

How does the hotel day work?

Check-in from 16:00, check-out until 11:00. If the schedule allows it, we can extend your morning for a surcharge — just ask at reception.

Can I bring my dog or cat?

Yes! Pets are welcome here (a one-off fee of 50 zł, reported when booking). They even have their own wild pond to swim in — the main swimming pond is for people only.

What about young children?

A child under 3 sleeping with their parents stays free, and we can bring a travel cot for a one-off fee. The pond has a 40 cm-deep paddling area, and the Club room has a little kids' corner.

How does the Forest SPA work?

The sauna zone (dry sauna, infrared sauna, relaxation room) is open to all guests daily 15:30–18:30, and in the evening, 18:45–22:15, you can book it for exclusive use (50 zł/hour). Massages and rituals are booked separately — online or at reception.

Do you have a swimming pool?

No. Instead of a pool there is a natural swimming pond at 680 m a.s.l. (biologically filtered water, no chlorine), open in summer 08:00–22:00, and all year round the Forest SPA with a dry sauna, an infrared sauna and a relaxation room.

Do I pay less by booking directly?

Yes — booking directly always gets you the best price, with no portal commission. The system shows live availability and confirms your stay right away.

How do I get to you?

Michałowice is the upper part of Piechowice — 15 minutes from Szklarska Poręba, 25 from Jelenia Góra. The last stretch is a forest road climbing to 680 m a.s.l. For navigation: ul. Sudecka 24, Piechowice.
