Apartments in a wooden villa beneath the Śnieżne Kotły
Six apartments in the old wooden villa of Drewniana Róża in Michałowice (Piechowice) in the Karkonosze Mountains, from the cosy 20 m² Jodła to the two-room Cedr with a bathtub and a fireplace. Each one carries the name of a conifer, and each has a full kitchenette. Your stay includes the Forest SPA and the natural swimming pond at 680 m a.s.l.

The villa
An old wooden villa at the end of the valley
The villa stands in Michałowice, in the upper part of Piechowice, where the buildings end and the forest begins. Six apartments, six trees in the names, and not a single neighbour over the fence. Each of them already has its own story, and each has served many purposes over the years. Some we let only in season, because outside it they are still our home. Those of you who visit us regularly are writing, together with us, the story of a house that is now 100 years old.
Cis and Jałowiec have balconies, while Jodła, Szyszka and Cedr have terraces. Cis and Jałowiec have two levels, with the bedroom on a mezzanine, and Świerk, Cedr, Szyszka and Jodła have no stairs.
Every apartment has a full kitchenette with a fridge, dishwasher and induction hob, a coffee machine and a kettle, and bed linen and towels are waiting for you. After a day on the trail, all that's left is to go down to the Forest SPA or sit with a book by the fireplace in the Club room.

Coming as a couple?
Szyszka has a conservatory with a hanging chair and a terrace with a sun lounger. In the evening you can have the whole sauna zone to yourselves.

Before you book an apartment
How many guests fit in an apartment?
Cedr, Cis and Jałowiec sleep 1 to 4 people, Szyszka 1 to 5 (including up to 4 adults), and Jodła and Świerk 1 to 3 (including up to 2 adults). An extra adult or a child over 12 costs 150 zł per night.
Which apartments have a view of the Śnieżne Kotły?
The balconies of the Cis and Jałowiec apartments and the terraces of Jodła, Szyszka and Cedr offered that view 15 years ago. Karkonosze spruces grow fast 🙂
Do the apartments have a kitchen?
Yes, each one has a full kitchenette with a fridge, dishwasher and induction hob, plus a coffee machine and a kettle.
Which apartment has no stairs?
Świerk, Cedr, Szyszka and Jodła. Cis and Jałowiec have two levels, with the bedroom on a mezzanine.
Is there an apartment with a bathtub?
Yes, Cedr: the largest in the villa (60 m²), with two rooms, a terrace, a fireplace, a bathtub and a shower.
How much does an apartment cost?
Prices start at 350 zł per night. Starting prices by apartment: Jodła 350 zł, Świerk 350 zł, Cis 440 zł, Jałowiec 440 zł, Cedr 480 zł, Szyszka 520 zł. The availability search will show the price for your dates.
What is included in the price?
A welcome homemade cake with coffee, the Forest SPA (dry sauna, infrared sauna, relaxation room; 15:30–18:30), swimming in the natural pond with a paddling area, the Club room, the playground, bed linen and towels, secure parking and internet.
Can a child sleep in our room?
A child under 3 sleeping with their parents stays free, and a travel cot with bed linen costs 50 zł for the whole stay. Jodła and Świerk have a fold-out 80×200 extra bed, and Jałowiec is a proven layout for a family of 2+2.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 16:00, check-out until 11:00. Earlier check-in or later check-out, if possible, costs 100 zł and 100 zł respectively.

The apartments have the atmosphere of an old villa. The cabins stand right by the pond and have a fireplace, air conditioning and a mezzanine with a hammock net.
