A weekend for two at Drewniana Róża, in Michałowice beneath the Śnieżne Kotły, doesn't need a plan down to the minute. All it takes is an apartment with a terrace or a cabin with a fireplace by the pond, a sauna that you have to yourselves in the evening, and a forest that will do the rest.
Forest SPA for your exclusive use
An evening that belongs only to you
Every day from 18:45 to 22:15 the Forest SPA sauna zone can be taken for your exclusive use, for a surcharge of 50 zł per hour. You get the whole zone: a Finnish dry sauna (80–110°C), a gentler infrared sauna and a relaxation room with loungers and a view of the forest. For cooling off there is the natural pond — in summer, and even more so in winter, when an ice hole awaits — and a traditional bucket of cold water. You book a slot at reception, no later than 2 h before the session.
Earlier, from 15:30 to 18:30, the sauna zone is open to all guests and included in the price of your stay. If you want something more, the Forest SPA has 34 massages and forest rituals, from 150 zł. We suggest one combination ourselves: the “Fern Flower” ceremony (90 minutes: a herbal or a forest bath, then a relaxing full-body massage with warm sea buckthorn oil), followed by an evening in the sauna for your exclusive use. Treatments are booked separately, through Booksy.

A sample weekend
Friday by the fireplace, Saturday in the forest, Sunday without a rush
Check-in from 16:00, with homemade cake and coffee as a welcome. The first evening is best spent without a plan: a fire in the fireplace, a book from the shelf, quiet hours from 22:00. In the morning, a walk towards Złoty Widok (2.6 km as the crow flies), where a viewing platform has stood since 2020, or to Szklarka Waterfall (2.4 km). In the afternoon the sauna in the general zone, in the evening the same sauna, but just for the two of you.
If you'd rather not cook, reception has a list of restaurants with takeaway and delivery, and a basket of regional produce lets you have a leisurely breakfast on the terrace. At weekends the minimum stay is 2 nights, with check-out by 11:00. In autumn, Monday to Friday, there is the “Warm up!” package: exactly 3 nights, a bottle of wine as a welcome, an hour of sauna free of charge and a breakfast basket with regional delicacies, from 1232 zł per stay.

You can give someone a stay at Drewniana Róża. Two kinds of vouchers, each with an individual number.
A stay voucher
It covers the basic costs of a stay for a set number of nights in the chosen type of accommodation: an apartment or a cabin.
A monetary voucher
It reduces the cost of the stay and additional services by the value of the voucher. The recipient chooses what to spend it on: accommodation, a massage in the Forest SPA, or both.

Before you book your weekend
Is the sauna for exclusive use included in the price of the stay?
The general zone, daily 15:30–18:30, is included. The zone for exclusive use (18:45–22:15) is booked for a surcharge of 50 zł per hour, no later than 2 h in advance.
How many people can use the zone for exclusive use?
Up to 6, so you can also spend an evening there as a foursome.
Which apartment should we choose for a romantic trip?
We recommend the Szyszka apartment (a conservatory with a hanging chair and a terrace), Cedr (a bathtub and a fireplace) or one of the cabins by the pond with a fireplace and a terrace over the water.
How do I book a massage or a ritual?
Forest SPA massages and rituals (34 treatments, from 150 zł) are booked online through Booksy. The evening in the sauna zone you book with us: through the form on the website or at reception.
Is there a minimum length of stay at weekends?
Yes, weekend stays are for a minimum of 2 nights. During the week you can come for one night, with a surcharge of 100 zł per apartment or cabin.
Is breakfast available?
Every unit has a full kitchenette, and for breakfast you can order a basket of regional produce for two days (100 zł per person, min. 2 people; included in selected offers). Reception also has a list of restaurants with takeaway and delivery.
Can I buy a stay as a gift?
Yes. We have stay vouchers and monetary vouchers; you order them through the contact form or by phone. The expiry date is on the voucher. Vouchers may be subject to restrictions on long weekends and public holidays.
Can we come with a dog?
Yes, for a one-off fee of 50 zł for the whole stay. Animals are not allowed in the Forest SPA, however.
