Variant 1: via Łowiecka Street
Turn right and follow the path through the forest to Łowiecka Street. Head right and walk back through Michałowice to Plac Wczasowy, then along Śnieżna Street to Drewniana Róża.
For the sunset
The Drewniak massif itself is not an exceptional place, but the surprises hidden in its nooks and crannies will give you plenty of fun, excitement and views.

We start along Śnieżna Street, running past the Drewniana Róża grounds, and head towards Michałowice. The street follows the blue trail, which leads to Piechowice and the famous Huta Julia.
On the recreation square in Michałowice you'll find a playground, a beautiful view of the Śnieżne Kotły panorama, the local shop run by Mr Janek, a chestnut tree and many houses offering accommodation in Michałowice. This is where you turn onto the green trail.
The trail begins with a steep climb along Złoty Widok Street. On the way you'll meet beautiful old beeches, rock formations — including the largest weathering pits in the Karkonosze — a viewing platform and a small cave, perfect for playing with the children.
A few metres past the viewing platform the trails fork — and this is where we come to the rescue. You have three variants.
Turn right and follow the path through the forest to Łowiecka Street. Head right and walk back through Michałowice to Plac Wczasowy, then along Śnieżna Street to Drewniana Róża.
Keep going straight. After a few minutes a forest path leads you to an old, disused quarry. From above there are beautiful views of the Karkonosze and Szklarska Poręba, and if you take a moment you'll find a path down. The quarry has climbing routes and plenty of remains of former infrastructure. Return through Michałowice.
+1.5–2 h
Not long ago the green trail from Michałowice to Szklarka Waterfall was rerouted — it now runs right across the Drewniak massif. Taking the trail to the left adds another 1.5–2 hours to the hike, but in return you'll see one of the largest waterfalls in the Karkonosze. Below the waterfall is the Kochanówka mountain hut — a good place for a rest. You can return on the green trail to Michałowice, or along the forest road beside the Czarna Płóczka stream to Droga pod Reglami, then left to Trzy Jawory and Drewniana Róża.
If you return through the village in variant 1 or 2, you'll add about 500 m and can visit the restaurant Teatralna 1 — it stands at the address that gives it its name. We recommend it, because they feed you very well.
