The route

  1. 1

    Droga pod Reglami

    You set off along Droga pod Reglami, which leads to Szklarska Poręba — the one with loads of accommodation and tourists. Don't worry, you won't walk that far.

    Trzy Jawory

    At Trzy Jawory (the Three Sycamores) you turn left onto the black trail, towards Jagniątków.

    Along the black trail to the tarmac

    The black trail takes you to a tarmac road — Sudecka Street.

  4. 4

    Back along Sudecka Street

    Turn left and in a moment you're back at Drewniana Róża which, as you've just seen for yourselves, offers a stay in the forest. Don't forget to breathe deeply: the morning Karkonosze air at this altitude is phenomenal.

Without the tarmac

For those who don't want to return on tarmac: come back the same way, in the opposite direction.

With a viewpoint

+20 min both ways

Walking along the black trail towards Jagniątków, about 150 m before the tarmac road you turn right — at a distinctive spot with two barriers and a KPN (Karkonosze National Park) sign. Carry straight on; the ER-2 cycle route runs this way too. After a few minutes you take the first road on the left and shortly you're in a beautiful clearing with a view of the Śnieżne Kotły. With a bit of luck you won't meet anyone along the way, and you might even catch a glimpse of wild animals.
